Tractor pull and craft fair to be hosted by antique tractor and machinery association

The Putnam County Antique Tractor & Machinery Association will be hosting its second annual truck and tractor pull event on Friday, June 23 and Saturday, June 24 at the Putnam County Fairgrounds.

PCATMA will also be hosting its annual craft fair and machinery show, which will feature blacksmith demonstrations, a kids area, wagon rides, an ice cream maker and all sorts of machinery ranging from antique tractors, trucks, various farm equipment, vintage cars, oddities and hit ‘n' miss engines. The craft fair, which features 50-plus vendors, will be located in the swine barn and will be open from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday then open back on Saturday at 9 a.m.

General admission and parking to the events are free. Concessions and refreshments will be provided by the Putnam County Rabbit Club, Wing’n Out, Kona Ice and BBQ Bill’s.

Both the craft fair and machinery show will continue through the weekend, while the main truck & tractor pull event will take place on Friday evening, starting at 5 p.m. with classes for non-sanctioned and sanctioned machines, followed by the IPA at 7. A beer garden and concessions will be present at the pulls. Admission is $10 per person with five and under being free.

Additional pulls on Saturday evening will have no charge for admission.
