Wilma I. Shinn

Wilma I. Shinn, Greencastle, went home to be with Jesus Friday, June 30, 2023.

Born Oct. 11, 1936, she was the daughter of Wilma G (Dickey) Cox and Chancy Cox.

She was a 1954 graduate of Greencastle High School.

She retired from American United Life Insurance in Indianapolis after several years of service.

She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, serving in many different areas.

Wilma’s Red Hat friends were very special to her. She enjoyed many outings with the Red Hat ladies.

She married Morris V. Shinn and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by son Larry W. Shinn and her parents.

Survivors include sister Anna Marie McGrath (Arizona) and her four children, Matthew McGrath, LaVerne McGrath, Rose Matson and Mary Sanchez.

A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church, Greencastle, on Monday, July 10 at 11 a.m.
