U.S. 231 restrictions begin for culvert replacement near Cloverdale

CLOVERDALE — Lane restrictions began Monday on U.S. 231 in southern Putnam County.

The restriction is in place for the installation of a box culvert at approximately 1.5 miles south of State Road 42. These restrictions are expected to last through the beginning of November, weather permitting.

The contract, which also involves a bridge replacement over Doe Creek, was awarded to White Construction for more than $3.5 million.
