CLAYTON — The Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the assistance of the community in a recent homicide investigation.

As detectives continue to investigate the death of Rebecca Maners, 62, of Clayton, some key witnesses could help them in the case.

Specifically, they would like to speak to the person who drove a white, full-sized pickup truck and gave a westbound ride to another person in Belleville on Friday, July 14.

Investigators are hoping that one or both of these people may have seen something to assist in the investigation.

If you are the driver of the white pickup truck or know who the driver of the white pickup truck is, you are urged to contact Det. Sgt. Sam Chandler directly at 317-745-4033.

Hendricks County deputies began their investigation when Maners’ body was discovered inside a residence in the 100 block of East County Road 600 South on Friday, July 14.

The investigation by the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office and Hendricks County Coroner’s Office is ongoing.
