Betty J. Dye

Betty J. Dye, 81, of Coatesville, went to be with the Lord Saturday, Aug. 5, 2023.

She was born in Harrodsburg, Ky., on Aug. 8, 1941 to the late Phillip and Veda (Vickrey) Conner.

She married Jasper Dye Sept. 3, 1957 and he preceded her in death June 4, 2007.

She is survived by her son Bruce Dye, and daughter Anita Rominger, of Coatesville; grandchildren Cassie (Joe) Allee, Tessa (Joey) Stevens, Karissa (Tim) Korte, Ashley (Justin) Dickerson, Jasper (Mary) Dye and Lynzie Dye; also multiple great-grandchildren along with sister Mary and sister Ada (Robert) Hafley.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her daughter, Diana, and her sisters, Pat, Edith, Margaret and Dorothy.

Funeral services for Betty will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Walnut Chapel Cemetery. Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfuneralhome.net.
