Jefferson Township VFD offering pork chops Saturday

BELLE UNION ­— The Jefferson Township Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual pork chop fundraiser this Saturday, Aug. 19 beginning at 5 p.m.

Meals for under $15 will include a marinated chop, two homemade sides and a drink.

Individual pork chops are $9, while sides available are baked beans, potato salad, cottage cheese and applesauce at $2 each. Hot dogs and Coney dogs are $3 each, with a variety of desserts also on offer for $3 each.

Payment is by cash or check only.

The event will be held at the Belle Union Meeting Center.
