North Putnam ranks within top high schools
ROACHDALE — North Putnam High School has been listed by U.S. News and World Report as one of the top high schools in the state.
Accordingly, North Putnam has been ranked 32nd out of the top 50 Indiana schools listed, but 13th in high schools located in the Indianapolis metropolitan area.
According to the publication, nearly 18,000 schools were evaluated at the national, state and local levels for the annual listing. It said this year’s rankings show schools, “whose students demonstrate outstanding outcomes, surpassing the anticipated benchmarks, including achieving high graduation rates.”
By ranking into the top 40 percent of schools, North Putnam has a status as one of the publication’s Best High Schools.
