Intersection reopenings in Greencastle delayed

Due to an equipment breakdown Friday morning, the openings of two intersections connected to Locust Street in Greencastle are being delayed.

The city reported that no paving would be done Friday due to the breakdown as relayed by the inspector of the project.

As such, the intersection of Locust and Seminary streets will not reopen this weekend, along with the intersection at Locust and Walnut streets.

However, the paving is to resume next Tuesday, Sept. 5 and go through Wednesday. This is as other work on the project continued Friday.
