First Friday to feature mini golf, pumpkins, more

This Friday marks the final First Friday of the season.

Main Street Greencastle expresses its thanks to Everwise Credit Union (formerly TCU) for sponsoring the event.

This First Friday finale includes a pumpkin giveaway from Prime Real Estate.

The October First Friday also includes the Putt Putnam County Mini-Golf Course organized by Castlemakers. There are a dozen different mini-golf holes that kids and adults alike can enjoy.

No First Friday would be complete without live music. Jenna Rose and the Ramblers will be on the Courthouse Stage, and Nantucket will be on the Indiana Street Stage.

As usual, there will be plenty of food, snacks, drinks and a variety of promotional, retail and craft vendors.

With excellent fall weather currently in the forecast, the public is encouraged to pack the Courthouse Square and end First Friday season celebrating community.

Finally, organizers encourage the public to check out all of the local shops and boutiques in and just outside of the First Friday footprint.

“We have a ton of wonderful stores around the square, don’t forget to stop in and show them some love,” Main Street Greencastle Executive Director Russell Harvey said.
