Don Flint Blood Drive set Saturday at Greencastle Masonic lodge

The late Don Flint celebrates on the occasion of donating his 22nd gallon of blood in 2012. The Greencastle resident donated several more gallons before he passed away in 2022 at age 90. This Saturday, Greencastle Temple Lodge 47 will host a blood drive in memory of the longtime member.

Named for a late member of the lodge who was a prolific blood donor, Greencastle Masonic Temple Lodge 47 will host a blood drive on Saturday, Oct. 14.

The Don Flint Blood Drive will take place from 9 a.m.-12:15 p.m. at the lodge, 118 E. Washington St.

Our community’s health care facilities face a shortage of blood supplies more often than the public may be aware.
