PIC OF THE DAY: Green Light ... Red Light!

A game of “red light, green light” is no mere child’s play on the city’s north side presently, with a wait of several minutes in store as traffic proceeds northbound or southbound through the one-lane zone that stretches from Shadowlawn Avenue to just north of the entrance to the Putnam County Museum. On Tuesday afternoon, though, some unfortunate motorists have the added obstacle of a train passing through on the CSX track, rendering the green light for northbound motorists all but useless. Storm sewer work in the area is expected to continue four to six weeks.
