U.S. 40 Rollover

First responders work a rollover accident that occurred on U.S. 40 west of Mount Meridian early Thursday afternoon. It was reported that the vehicle was traveling eastbound when it went into the median and rolled. The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office and Jefferson Township Volunteer Fire Department were on scene, while the driver and two toddlers were checked out by Putnam County EMS. Westbound traffic was shut down while Trimble Towing uprighted and took the vehicle.
