County Jail
Seventeen people were booked in the Putnam County Jail recently.
Sunday
At 11:45 p.m. Keeley A. Flynn, 35, Marshall, Ill., was booked in for driving while intoxicated and driving with a suspended license with a prior conviction.
At 8:23 p.m. Anthony M. Leonard, 28, Greencastle, was lodged at the jail on a local warrant.
At 1:49 a.m. Cheryl A. Bargo, 62, Greencastle, was taken into custody on a local warrant.
At 12:34 a.m. Myrtle T. Thompson, 32, Michigan City, was housed at the jail for possession of cocaine, false informing and on an out-of-county warrant.
Friday
At 7:38 p.m. Christopher D. Nuetzman, 49, Indianapolis, was booked in for theft.
At 5:43 p.m. Datrevian J. Holder, 28, Indianapolis, was lodged at the jail for receiving stolen property, resisting law enforcement and trespassing.
At 5:06 p.m. Zachary D. Eakle, 39, Reelsville, was taken into custody for invasion of privacy.
At 12:20 p.m. Stephen F. Dunn, 41, Crawfordsville, was housed at the jail for driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated endangering a person.
At 9:39 a.m. Maximus S. Ramsey, 22, Indianapolis, was booked in for public intoxication.
At 2:01 a.m. Bambi L. Bicknell, 50, Terre Haute, was lodged at the jail on a local warrant.
At 1:51 a.m. Georgia L. Rooksberry, 26, West Terre Haute, was taken into custody on a local warrant.
Thursday
At 11:28 p.m. Joseph A. Layne, 43, Bearden, Ark., was housed at the jail for criminal trespass, possession of marijuana and public intoxication.
At 5:16 p.m. Tyler R. Phillips, 30, Brownsburg, was booked in for theft.
At 3:43 p.m. Lyndon J. Briones, 20, Greencastle, was lodged at the jail on a local warrant.
At 3:02 p.m. Matthew R. Lipscomb, 39, Greencastle, was taken into custody for interfering with drug or alcohol screening and probation violation.
At 11:52 a.m. Daniel L. Frye, 50, Terre Haute, was housed at the jail on a Vigo County warrant and for possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana.
At 11:35 a.m. Tamara R. Allen, 49, Greencastle, was booked in on a local warrant.
City Fire
The Greencastle Fire Department responded to five incidents between Thursday and Monday:
GFD went Thursday evening for two consecutive alarms at the Center for Diversity and Inclusion at DePauw University:
At 6:37 p.m. on Thursday, GFD was dispatched for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 6:41 and determined the alarm was due to cooking. The alarm system was reset. GFD went back into service at 6:48 p.m.
At 7:14 p.m. on Thursday, GFD was dispatched for another fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 7:18 and determined the alarm was due to cooking. The alarm system was reset. GFD went back into service at 7:24 p.m.
At 11:06 a.m. on Friday, GFD was dispatched to Hamilton House at DePauw for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 11:09 and determined the alarm was due to construction. GFD went back into service at 11:13 a.m.
At 10:18 p.m. on Saturday, GFD was dispatched to Chinda House at DePauw for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived soon after and determined the alarm was due to cooking. The alarm system was reset. GFD went back into service at 11:23 p.m.
At 8:35 p.m. on Sunday, GFD was dispatched to Minshall House at DePauw for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 8:36 and determined the alarm was due to cooking. The alarm system was reset. GFD went back into service at 8:39 p.m.
Additionally, GFD responded for seven medical assists and had four disregards during this timeframe.
