County yard waste site closing Oct. 30

Putnam County’s yard waste drop-off site, located at 2363 S. CR 250 West, Greencastle, will close for the season on Monday, Oct. 30.

Residents of Putnam and Parke counties are urged to take advantage of warm weather to clean up yard trimmings and debris before the site closes.

The site is open on Wednesday, Oct. 25 from noon-6 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 28 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

The site will reopen on April 1, 2024.

Businesses and contractors are prohibited from using the site.
