Phyllis J. ‘Jeannie’ Solomon

Phyllis J. “Jeannie” Solomon, 83, Pittsboro, passed away on Monday, Oct. 23, 2023.

She worked as an inspector for and retired from General Motors. She was an avid Wheel of Fortune fan.

Phyllis was a cherished daughter, sister, wife and mother and was preceded in death by her husband, Gregory Solomon; son Kelly Smith; parents Herbert and Anna Kendall; and brothers Wayne Kendall, Ronald Kendall, Michael Kendall and Rodney Kendall.

Survivors include her children, Bryce (Leasa) Smith, Michelle (Richard II) Brickert, Lora (Richard) Starrett and Brandi Schueler, brothers Phillip Kendall and Charles Kendall; and countless grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a son, Bradley.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 6 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 1 p.m.
