Putnam County Animal Care offering free microchip clinic Nov. 4

Providing pet owners with a way to find their dogs or cats if they get lost, Putnam County Animal Care will offer a free microchip clinic on Saturday, Nov. 4.

The event will take place from 9 a.m.-noon at the Putnam County Fairgrounds.

This drive-through service is offered to Putnam County residents only, who can fill out paperwork in their vehicles as they wait in line.

Putnam County Animal Care will register the chips on owners’ behalves.

There will be 200 chips available on a first-come-first-served basis.
