McManama honored by Indiana Moose Association
During the recent 100th-annual convention of the Indiana Moose Association, a Greencastle woman was bestowed the title of honorary past state president of the association.
Cletus McManama joined the Women of the Moose in August 1989 in Greencastle Chapter 138, where she holds a life membership. She has served her chapter as senior regent, recorder, as well as other offices and various chairman positions.
She received her AOF in 1992, her College in 1995 and her Star Recorder Degree in 2001. She became deputy grand regent in 1999 and has served as chapter advocate since 2010. She was appointed to the College of Regents board in 2010 and then became president of the board.
McManama was appointed to the Grand Council in 2016 and became the international grand regent in 2021, junior grand regent in 2022 and finally past grand gegent in Reno, Nev., earlier this year.
During the convention on Friday, Oct. 20, McManama was honored for her commitment to the Indiana Moose Association with a resolution that read in part, “there is no better way to honor her than making her an honorary past president. She has spent her time with the Moose intently, wisely and proudly.”
McManama is a proud member of Greencastle Lodge 1582, Loyal Order of the Moose.
