A few days remain to cast a ballot in 2023

With the 2023 municipal election just days away on Tuesday, Nov. 7, the time to cast a ballot in dwindling.

Voters in Bainbridge, Cloverdale, Fillmore, Greencastle and Roachdale will go to the polls on Tuesday, but there is also still the option to cast an early ballot.

On Friday, Nov. 3 and Monday, Nov. 6, early voting will be available at the Putnam County Courthouse. On Friday, the schedule is regular business hours, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., while on Monday, the day before the election, voting is only available from 8 a.m.-noon.

On Saturday, Nov. 4, two locations will be open for early voting — the courthouse and the Bainbridge Community Building, each one open from 8 a.m.-noon.

For those taking the more traditional route, the polls will of course be open on Election Day itself. Four vote centers will be open in Putnam County:

• Putnam County Courthouse, 1 W. Washington St., Greencastle;

• National Guard Armory, 401 N. Arlington St., Greencastle;

• Bainbridge Community Building, 201 N. Grant Ave.;

• Cloverdale American Legion, 501 S. Main St.

Registered voters from any of the five participating municipalities may vote at any of the vote centers.
