An estimated 1,000 people attended the first Boo Bash event Saturday in Robe-Ann Park. The event was hosted by Greencastle Parks and Recreation.

The weather cooperated as those young and old donned Halloween costumes of all types.

Greencastle Parks and Recreation officials would like to thank the sponsors which made the event a success.

T-Time Cleaning Services sponsored the photo booth inside the aquatic center, which provided free photos. Additional sponsors were Chandlers’ Farm and Country Market, DC Superior Services, Greencastle Pediatric Dentistry, Headley Hardware, Jimmy John’s, Putnam Pickleball Players, S&W Feed Center, Terre Haute Bowling Center and the Tzouanakis Intermediate School PTO.

The food court served up food and beverages courtesy of Big Heads Bubble Madness, The Mixed Plate Food Truck and Tom’s Travelin’ Coffee. All have indicated they would like to return for next year’s event.
