Next hike set Nov. 11 at Camp Friend

LIMEDALE — The 11th hike of the year by Putnam Parks & Pathways will be take place at Camp Friend south of Greencastle on Manhattan Road.

The Nov. 11 hike will start at 9 a.m. The hike will look at the facilities available for youth groups from Putnam County. Hikers will then travel along the north side of Camp Friend among freshly fallen leaves. There are several other trails that need some work to open.

Camp Friend is dedicated to serving all youth by offering an excellent outdoor experience from camping to youth programs. Reservations for camp sites, shelters and birthday parties are available at www.campfriend.org.
