County Jail

Sixteen people were booked in the Putnam County Jail recently.

Sunday

• At 10:19 p.m. Tom Dloniak, 60, Greencastle, was booked in for trafficking, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and two counts of possession of paraphernalia.

• At 5:06 p.m. Angela M. Romandine, 45, Greencastle, was lodged at the jail on a local warrant.

• At 3:28 p.m. Brooke E. Woodcock, 37, Cloverdale, was taken into custody on a local warrant.

Saturday

• At 7:11 p.m. Michael L. Grimes, 47, Fillmore, was housed at the jail on a pair of local warrants.

• At 1:52 a.m. Katrina S. Adkins, 45, Cloverdale, was booked in for trafficking a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia with a prior conviction.

• At 1:49 a.m. Daniel J.E. Laycock, 38, Fillmore, was lodged at the jail for possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia with a prior conviction.

• At 12:31 a.m. Robert E. Stuart, 61, Fillmore, was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated.

Friday

• At 5:43 p.m. Misty S. Poole, 46, Greencastle, was housed at the jail for possession of methamphetamine.

• At 4:06 p.m. Cheecoawa A. Withrow, 25, Cloverdale, was booked in for unlawful possession of a syringe and maintaining a common nuisance.

• At 4:06 p.m. Ronald D. Withrow, 47, Cloverdale, was lodged at the jail for unlawful possession of a syringe and maintaining a common nuisance.

• At 2:27 p.m. Amber N. Dreiman, 40, Cloverdale, was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

• At 2:04 p.m. Cameron D. King, 29, Greencastle, was housed at the jail on a local warrant.

• At 4:43 a.m. Daniel L. Meredith, 40, Columbus, was lodged at the jail for battery on law enforcement.

Thursday

• At 11:42 p.m. Dakotah A. Williams, 22, Greencastle, was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated.

• At 5:19 p.m. Sarah M. Ruhl, 40, Cloverdale, was housed at the jail on a local warrant.

• At 12:38 p.m. Ryan J. Parrott, 41, Cloverdale, was booked in for driving with a suspended license with a prior conviction, a local warrant and a Marion County warrant.

City Fire

The Greencastle Fire Department responded to eight incidents between last Wednesday and Monday:

• At 11:47 a.m. last Wednesday, GFD was dispatched to ResCare as several individuals reported feeling ill after a furnace issue. Firefighters arrived at 11:55 and did not detect carbon monoxide inside the building, while the individuals refused medical treatment. GFD went back into service at 12:14 p.m.

• At 1:33 p.m. on Thursday, GFD was dispatched to Breadworks for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 1:35 and were advised by staff that the alarm was due to an oven and had already been reset. GFD went back into service at 1:38 p.m.

• At 3:14 p.m. on Thursday, GFD was dispatched to Mill Pond Health Campus for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 3:19 and determined the alarm was due to cooking. The alarm system was reset. GFD went back into service at 3:31 p.m.

• At 1:15 a.m. on Saturday, GFD was dispatched to Minshall House at DePauw University for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 1:20 and determined the alarm was due to smoking. The alarm system was reset. GFD went back into service at 1:29 a.m.

• At 12:22 p.m. on Saturday, GFD was dispatched to Headley Hardware for debris in the roadway. Firefighters arrived at 12:29 and found a large amount of broken glass. Police conducted traffic control while the glass was cleaned up. GFD went back into service at 12:43 p.m.

• At 10:50 p.m. on Saturday, GFD was dispatched to Lost Hollow Beer Co. for a report of trash on fire. Firefighters arrived at 10:53 and extinguished a small trash pile that was burning. GFD went back into service at 10:57 p.m.

• At 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, GFD was dispatched to 126 Woods Edge Blvd. for a carbon monoxide alarm. Firefighters arrived at 12:40 and did not detect any CO after monitoring the residence. GFD went back into service at 1:03 p.m.

• At 4:58 p.m. on Sunday, GFD was dispatched to assist the Cloverdale Township Volunteer Fire Department with a brush fire at 11664 S. CR 175 East. Firefighters arrived on the scene at 5:15 p.m. and extinguished the fire. GFD went back into service at 6:14 p.m.

Additionally, GFD responded for nine medical assists, had three disregards and found no incident on one dispatch during this timeframe.
