Blazed Corn

Approximately 15 acres of a cornfield between Greencastle and Stilesville is charred after it caught fire Monday afternoon. Mobilizing its brush truck and also its two engines for water supply, the Greencastle Fire Department assisted Fillmore volunteers with extinguishing the fire. High winds this week led to numerous responses for such fires in the area.
