New Life Baptist collecting boxes for Operation Christmas Child
New Life Baptist Church in Greencastle is again serving as a drop-off location for Operation Christmas Child.
A project of Samaritan’s Purse, Operation Christmas Child has a mission to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the good news of Jesus Christ.
National collection week began on Monday, Nov. 13 and continues through Monday, Nov. 20.
For those wishing to take part, New Life Baptist, 15 Ridgeway St., Greencastle, will be collecting shoeboxes full of goodies each day through Nov. 20. Volunteers will then combine them with other boxes dropped off from churches in the region, which spans from Covington to Terre Haute to Greencastle.
