Civic League Holiday Parade and Cookies with Santa set Dec. 2

The Greencastle Civic League has announced a return to the Holiday Parade and Cookies with Santa to kick off the Putnam County Winter Wonderland Lights Festival at Robe-Ann Park on Saturday, Dec. 2.

This rolling parade, meaning no walking participants or street closures, will begin at 3 p.m. at the Greencastle High School parking lot and end at Robe-Ann Park, where children can meet with Santa, take photos and enjoy free cookies, donated by Greencastle Professional Firefighters Local 5125, from 3:30-5:30 p.m.

The Civic League is still seeking parade participants. Anyone interested is asked to reach out to Anna Harmless at greencastlecivicleagueinc@gmail.com by Friday, Dec. 1. Any business or organization is invited to participate.All participants will be required to sign a liability waiver the day of the event.

There is no cost to enter, and candy is not required. However, holiday spirit and decorations are strongly encouraged.
