Temporary restrictions on SR 42 in Morgan County to allow maintenance work

EMINENCE -- Intermittent lane restrictions are scheduled for State Road 42 from Eminence to Monrovia in Morgan County, the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has announced.

Beginning on or after Friday, Nov. 17, crews will have varying restrictions on this route to allow for tree clearing, pothole patching and construction layout.

The restrictions will be occurring from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. Work is expected to continue through early July 2026, however, it is weather permitting and subject to change.

INDOT asks drivers to keep worker safety top of mind while traveling through this and all construction zones.
