Say Hello to Santa

With hands clasped and a twinkle in her eye, kindergartner Annmarie Tirotta, six-year-old daughter of Erika and Andrew Tirotta of Greencastle, gets a Christmas hug from Santa Claus during the annual Tri-Kappa Breakfast with Santa program Saturday morning at Deer Meadow Primary School. An estimated 150 children and 160 adults enjoyed the breakfast, music from the Greencastle High School choir and band and a chance to create some Christmas crafts as well as visiting Santa himself during the philanthropic sorority’s 32nd annual program.

Breakfast with Santa not only includes food and a visit with the Man in the Red Suit but music and crafts as well Saturday morning at Deer Meadow Primary School. Six-year-old Abilene Bowers, daughter of Chanel and Dave Bowers of Greencastle, concentrates on creating a reindeer item at the craft table, while dressed appropriately enough as Buddy the Elf, Greencastle High School junior Riley Wilson (below) jams with the clarinet during the GHS band’s appearance as part of the 32nd annual Tri-Kappa event.
