PIC OF THE DAY: Stone Work

With winter not having fully set in, a worker from Atlas Building Services performs periodic maintenance on the limestone of the north side of the Putnam County Courthouse earlier this week. Water infiltration can cause cracks in the limestone, with the freezing and thawing of winter and early spring in particular leading to damage. Crews from Atlas have been on location all week working on the 118-year-old structure.
