Merry Day for Crepes

Community members are served some cheer Friday morning with a crepe breakfast at the Good Day Café at Area 30 Career Center. Culinary arts students led by Chef Lauren Day organized the service.

Patrons had an option between a crepe filled with eggnog mousse and toasted pecans and another with whipped cream cheese and cranberry jam, each served up with fried potatoes and bacon.

Greencastle senior Shalynn Vandagrifft takes an order from Alan Zerkel as the breakfast gets under way. The crepe breakfast in particular is one of the most popular monthly services the program has offered.
