Banner Graphic, partners make $1,360 donation to Giving Tree

In the name of supporting local disadvantaged families at Christmas, the Banner Graphic, with the financial support of eight advertising partners, makes a $1,360 donation to Putnam County Giving Tree. Each holiday season, Putnam County Giving Tree provides assistance to hundreds of families throughout the community.

The challenges are no different this year, with Giving Tree again providing gifts for children from birth to 18 years old.

It has long been an effort supported by local churches, businesses, organizations and individuals. In recent years, it’s come to be spearheaded each year by Phil the Need, a local organization serving disadvantaged Putnam County residents throughout the year.

This year, the Banner Graphic asked some of its advertising partners to help us support the effort. Eight different local businesses sponsored at various different levels, allowing Banner representatives to make a donation of $1,360 to the 2024 Giving Tree effort.

The sponsors include: Platinum-Buzzi Unicem and Putnam County Community Foundation; Silver-Baker's Septic Services & Portalets and Greencastle Pediatric Dentistry; Bronze-Culligan Water, Hendricks Power Cooperative, Brad Tucker State Farm and Staff Management/SMX.
