City Hall reception to honor Mayor Dory, outgoing councilors
The public is invited to a reception Thursday, Dec. 14 at Greencastle City Hall to honor outgoing mayor Bill Dory and members of the City Council.
The 5 p.m. reception, in addition to honoring Dory for his eight years of service as mayor, will also celebrate departing councilors Cody Eckert, Russell Harvey, Dave Murray and Veronica Pejril for their service to the citizens of Greencastle.
The reception will also welcome Mayor-elect Lynda Dunbar along with new Clerk-Treasurer Mikayla Johnson and incoming City Council members Vince Aguirre, Katherine Asbell, David Masten and Tina Nicholson.
The reception will precede the December City Council meeting, which begins at 7 p.m. and will also be preceded by the annual Sustainability Awards presentation, which is slated to begin at 6:30.
