FOP to bring Santa to Putnam County Courthouse Saturday
Santa Claus will be at the Putnam County Courthouse on Saturday morning, courtesy of the Putnam County Fraternal Order of Police.
Community Christmas with Cops is set for 9 a.m.-noon featuring pictures with Santa, snacks, crafts and a toy for each child in attendance. Paper will also be available for kids who don’t have their wishlists for Santa already prepared.
The event is free to all, courtesy of the FOP.
Anyone wanting to help out in the community may bring nonperishable goods, dog or cat items or monetary donations, though such contributions are not required. The food will fill local giving boxes, the pet items go to the animal shelter and monetary donations will help fulfill the wishes of other kids in the community in their time of need.
