Do Solemnly Swear

Thursday, December 14, 2023
Elected Dec. 2 by a caucus of precinct committeemen from across the county, Todd Zeiner takes the oath of office recently from County Clerk Tracy Bridges in the Putnam Superior Courtroom. Zeiner takes over the remainder of the term of former Coroner Jon Myers, who resigned effective Dec. 8, saying he was past retirement age and ready to step down. Zeiner, who has served since 2015 under both Myers and former Coroner Dave Brown, will serve out this term, which ends Dec. 31, 2024, and also be eligible to seek re-election in 2024.
