Wynona Johnson Moore
Wynona Johnson Moore, 78, Lexington, Ky., passed away suddenly on Dec. 20, 2023.
Wynona was the beloved mother of two, grandmother of four and great-grandmother of two. She cherished her family beyond words and would do whatever she needed to do for them. She was the very definition of dignity, grace and class. She was completely selfless, never asking for anything in return.
Wynona enjoyed her retirement by traveling great distances to visit all of her family, wherever they may have been. Family was the most important thing to her.
Wynona is survived by three brothers, Charles (Cindy) Johnson, Jonnie (Linda) Johnson and Larry (Linda) Johnson; daughter Tina Webster; son Matthew (Lisa) Moore, grandchildren Nicholas (Shelby) Paullus, Daniel (Michelle) Drengacs and Olivia and Mallory Moore; and great-grandchildren Evelyn and Forrest Drengacs. She is also survived by her dear friend Sharon Hammond.
Wynona will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of her life and visitation will be held at Milward-Southland in Lexington, Ky., on Friday, Dec. 29. Visitation will be from 12:30-1:30 p.m. with service at 1:30 p.m.
