Mark Allen Ogburn

Mark Allen Ogburn, 59, Greencastle, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 31, 2023, at Putnam County Hospital after a brief battle with cancer.

Mark was born on July 20, 1964, the son of Rex and Wanda (Nicholson) Ogburn.

Mr. Ogburn was a member of the Aetna Baptist Church in Summersville, Ky. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter.

Survivors include his wife of over 20 years, Betty Ogburn; his mother; his two daughters, Tiffany Ogburn and Tabitha Benson; three stepchildren, Larry Tarr, Christy Williams (Scott) and Edmund Tarr (Barbie); two sisters, Kathy Williams and Cora Ellis; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Teddy.

He was preceded in death by his father.
