REELSVILLE — A Reelsville man was arrested on Wednesday after an investigation in which child pornography was allegedly found in his possession.

Working with the Indiana State Police’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, detectives Colton Maynard and Ryan Winters of the Putnamville Post initiated the investigation last March. This was after a cyber tip report came from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The report indicated that a certain account received images and video files containing child pornography.

On Dec. 18, a charge of Level 5 felony possession of child pornography was filed against Blake Hopper, 39. As such, an arrest warrant for Hopper was granted.

The state police reported that Hopper was taken into custody without incident.

Hopper is currently being held at the Putnam County Jail on a $20,000 cash-only bond. He had an initial hearing set in Putnam Circuit Court on Thursday morning.
