Bainbridge boil order lifted

UPDATE: The boil order in place since Saturday for Bainbridge water customers has been lifted, effective shortly after 11 a.m. Wednesday.

BAINBRIDGE — Due to a water main break, the Town of Bainbridge is under a boil order.

Utilities Supt. Eric Gibson notified the Banner Graphic of the break Saturday afternoon, and it will remain in effect until further notice.

It is recommended that all cooking and drinking water be brought to a complete boil for five minutes before using. Continue to boil all cooking and drinking water until being notified that it is no longer necessary.
