Jason Grant Snider

Jason Grant Snider, 49, of Terre Haute, passed away Friday, Feb. 2, 2024 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born Oct. 2, 1974 in Greencastle, the son of Halbert C. Snider Jr. and Melody Jo Paris Snider.

Jason served in the U.S. Navy.

He learned his Christian values from attending church with his grandparents.

Jason is survived by his father, Halbert C. Snider Jr. (Linda) of Greencastle; two sons, Shay Arrell and Travis Arrell of Pennsylvania; granddaughter Sierra Jordan Santone; brother Matthew Snider and niece Olivia Snider of Traverse City, Mich.; and stepbrothers Garin Sparks of Louisiana and Andy Sparks of Colorado. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Melody Jo Snider, and grandparents Bobbie and Mary Bernice Snider.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 1 p.m. at Barnes & Rice Funeral Home, 111 E. High St., Rockville. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Brick Chapel Cemetery, 3547 N. U.S. 231, Greencastle.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the funeral home to assist with arrangements.
