Keith Alan Smith

Keith Alan Smith, 65, of Cloverdale, passed Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024, at his residence.

He was born Nov. 6, 1958, in Greencastle, the son of Delmas Joe Smith and Rita Abrell Smith. His mother survives.

Keith was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Keith graduated from Cloverdale High School in 1977.

He married Mona Denise (Pearson) of Cloverdale on Dec. 4, 1982. To this union, one child was born, Jenna Marie (Smith) Nees (husband Ryan).

Keith was the loving grandfather to Kensi Rae Nees. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Mildred Elaine Person, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, sister Darlene Gaye Parker and father-in-law David Pearson.

Services will be held at Whitaker Funeral Home, 201 N. Lafayette St., Cloverdale. Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 8 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 9 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the Cloverdale Cemetery.
