Mary Ann Lemley

Mary Ann (Cash) Lemley passed away Sunday morning, Jan. 28, 2024, in Sun City, Ariz., after a brief illness.

She was born Oct. 20, 1933, in Greencastle.

She graduated from Fillmore High School.

She was preceded in death by parents Clyde Cash and Anna Hammond Cash; brothers Bill Cash, Bob Cash, John Cash and Gene Cash; and her late husband, Elmer Lemley.

She is survived by longtime companion Denny Lockmon; children Brenda Lemley-Spence (David Crose), Bruce (Peg) Lemley and Brice Lemley (Toni); eight grandchildren, Katherine, Chelsea, Ryan, Zachary, Anna, Justice, Noah and Aujanae; and seven great-grandchildren.

She loved working with people and was employed by DePauw University and Honeywell, and also worked in Arizona real estate.

Mary Ann was an avid golfer and was a member in many clubs in Sun City.

She was a member of Lakeview United Methodist Church in Sun City.

A celebration of her life will be conducted March 8 at 1 p.m. at Lakeview United Methodist Church, 10298 Thunderbird Blvd., Sun City.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Lakeview United Methodist Church.
