Twice as Nice

With a bright morning briefly interrupted by rain showers Thursday morning, residents of Putnam County had the chance to see a double rainbow in the western sky. Soon after the phenomenon brightened the morning sky, social media users began brightening their feeds with images of the fleeting moments. Courtney Lary snapped this photo while facing west from the Whitaker Funeral Home parking lot in Cloverdale. Observing the rainbow with her kindergarten class at Cloverdale Elementary School, Tara Baugh said the students were pretty sure the leprechauns have arrived ahead of St. Patrick’s Day.
