Nancy L. Schopmeyer

Nancy L. Schopmeyer, 78, of Clay City, formerly of Cloverdale, passed away Monday, Feb. 19, 2024.

She was born April 24, 1945 in Buffalo, N.Y., to the late Maryleen (Stockdale) Heinz.

She married Ronald A. Schopmeyer Dec. 18, 1976, and he survives.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.

She was also a member of Faith Baptist Church in Cunot.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Soni Hagymasi and husband Ted of Cloverdale, Tammy Grundlock and husband Ken of Coatesville, Hope Rush of Poland, Dough Schopmeyer and wife Dawn of Clay City and Debbie Floyd and husband Keith of Clay City; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Allen Carney and David Carney.

Graveside services for Nancy will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22 at Cloverdale Cemetery.
