Ronald Glen Jaggers

Ronald Glen Jaggers passed away Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024, at the age of 80 with several family members by his side.

Ron was born on Dec. 5, 1943, in Parke County to Joseph Glen Jaggers and Della Juanita Payton Jaggers.

Ron served in the United States Air Force from 1964 to 1968. While stationed in Nakhon Phanom, Thailand, he was a mechanic working on small Bird Dog planes.

Ron worked as a machinist for more than 30 years in the Aerofab division of Tube Processing Corp. in Indianapolis, retiring in 2010. While working full time there, he also had a used car lot in Bainbridge for several decades.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Glenda Jo Pierce and Debra Meyers.

Ron is survived by Kathy (McCammon), his wife of just shy of 54 years; daughters Laura (Jeff) Wilson and Suzanne Schmidt; son Brian Jaggers (Danielle Cameron); sisters Marcia (Harold) Layne, Karen (Bob) Helm and Lynette (Jeff) Williams; and brothers Richard (Maxine) Jaggers and Doug (Beverly) Jaggers.

He was Papaw to Caleb and Abby Schmidt and Mackenzie Cameron.

He was an honorable man who put his family first, and he is greatly missed.

A celebration of Ron’s life is planned for 1– 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 2 at the Bainbridge municipal building.
