Jameson Michael Allen

Jameson “Jammie” Michael Allen, 18 months, of Greencastle, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024 at Putnam County Hospital.

Jameson was born on Aug. 17, 2022 to Steven L. Allen and Kristen G. (Sutherlin) Allen.

Jameson was loved by all who knew him. His smile and laughter would light up the room everywhere he went. Jameson loved his snacks, especially Goldfish crackers. Jammie was the sweetest, most loving little boy who gave the best hugs, kisses and pats.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandpas, Morris A. Sutherlin, Steven J. Hopkins and Dewayne L. Axtman.

Jameson is survived by his parents; grandparents Tom (Tina) Sutherlin, Leslie Hopkins (David McKinney) and Carl Allen; aunts Erin (Conner) Rooksberry, Emily Alspaugh, Katie Sutherlin, Morgan (Clayton) Miller and Kensie Allen; great-grandparents Martha Sutherlin, Shirley Mager, Carl and Mary Allen and Karen Hopkins; cousins Sadie Alspaugh and Willow Rooksberry; along with several great-aunts and great-uncles and cousins.

Services will take place on Saturday, March 2 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Bennett officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. with the funeral service starting at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.
