Sunday Fire Response

Madison Township and Greencastle firefighters ensure that hot spots are extinguished after a report of a structure fire Sunday evening. Several units were dispatched on a box alarm to 8511 W. CR 250 South for a shed on fire. However, they were disregarded as logs that caught next to a wood burner were quickly doused. A chicken coop was saved and no casualties were reported. The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office was also at the scene.
