Delta Theta Tau flower sale upcoming

ROACHDALE ­— With spring weather coming soon, Delta Theta Tau Sorority of Roachdale is taking orders for its annual flower sale.

There is no public sale, but orders will be taken with no-contact deliveries being made.

As last year, premium hybrid zonal 4.5-inch geraniums are $5.50 apiece in red, white, salmon, pink and violet. Premium hybrid zonal six-inch geraniums are $8.50 apiece and also available in the same colors.

Begonia bedding plants (red, white, pink or mix) and impatiens bedding plants (red, white, rose, violet, salmon or mix) are available at $17 per flat (18 plants per flat).

There are also seven different types of 10-inch hanging baskets to choose from at $22.50 each: geranium (various colors), calibrachoa, impatiens, petunia, dragon wing begonia, spring mix and scaevola. Twelve-inch patio pots with either geraniums (red, white, pink, violet or salmon) or gerbera daisies (various colors) are also available at $25 each.

Flowers will be personally delivered to customers on Saturday, April 27 or afterward in time for Mother’s Day.

Order forms can be found at Roachdale Hardware and may also be requested by email and sent to williad1985@gmail.com. Orders and payment are due by April 5.

All proceeds from the sale go toward scholarships and other community philanthropy.
