Timothy K. Perkins

Timothy K. Perkins, 62, of Greencastle, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family.

Tim was born June 23, 1961 in Greencastle to the late James D. “J.D.” and Betty A. Perkins.

Tim was a 1980 graduate of Greencastle High School.

He worked at the Department of Correction in Putnamville for many years. He was also an avid farmer. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He would not hesitate to lend a hand to help someone, no questions asked. He also enjoyed fishing.

On Sept. 3, 2005, Tim and Kimberly S. Pettit were married. They shared 18 years of marriage.

Tim is survived by his wife, Kimberly S. Perkins; sons Rian M. Perkins and Daryn M. Clifford; daughters Marki A. Jared (James) and Jessi M. Faust (Kaden); and seven grandchildren, Matthew, Lillian, Nicholas, Eloise, Annabel, Skylar and Colton. He is also survived by a brother, Daniel W. Perkins (Abra); several aunts, uncles and cousins; along with his niece, Laya, and nephew Cade; and his mother-in-law, Frieda Pettit.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two siblings, Janet L. Perkins and Mark A. Perkins; and his father-in-law, David “Butch” Pettit.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday, March 15 from 4–8 p.m. at the Servies & Morgan Funeral Home, 102 E. Washington St., Roachdale, IN 46172.
