Loretta Lynn Bruns

Loretta Lynn Bruns, 69, of Greencastle, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024.

Born March 15, 1954 in Greencastle, she was the daughter of James Robert and Nellie May (Hill) Jones.

She attended Greencastle High School.

Loretta was a homemaker and worked at Walmart Distribution for 15 years.

She was a member of the Eagles Lodge and Moose Lodge, Greencastle.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Erich F. Bruns; brothers Jimmy, Billy, Raymond and Robert Jones; and sisters Carol Sue Butcher, Brenda Capps and Rosanne Shoemaker.

Loretta is survived by her daughter, Crystal Bruns; sons Robert (wife Missy) Coffey and Erich (companion Stephanie Skeene) Bruns; sisters Barbara Duff and Linda (husband Larry) Rogers; companion Ray Gillinger; grandchildren Kayla, Skylar, Noah, Bobby, Autumn and Cade; and great-granddaughter Luna.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 14 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle. Interment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
