GCSC kindergarten roundup set April 2, 4

Deer Meadow and Ridpath primary schools have announced that they will be welcoming new kindergarten Tiger Cubs for the 2024-25 school year.

Kindergarten roundup will take place at each Greencastle primary school from 3-7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2 and Thursday, April 4.

Roundup will give children the chance to meet teachers, tour the school, participate in some fun activities and get a free book and GCSC T-shirt.

Meanwhile, parents and guardians will be able to fill out necessary paperwork ahead of kindergarten while also getting familiar with the school, staff and administrators.

Necessary information includes the student’s birth certificate, two proofs of residency and shot records.

Incoming kindergarten students should be five years old by Aug. 1.
