Cline to speak at Dine with a Doc
Sponsored by Senior Education Ministries, Dine with a Doc is set for 10 a.m.-noon at Putnam County Hospital on Monday, March 25.
This free monthly program features lunch for seniors and a presentation about a health topic.
This month’s speaker is PCH dietician Hannah Cline.
Cline was born and raised in Putnam County. She graduated from South Putnam High School in 2010 before pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University in dietetics.
Her first position after college was with WIC — a supplemental nutrition program — in Terre Haute doing nutrition assessments and education for women, infants and children.
Since June 2015, she has worked at PCH in the clinical and community wellness capacity.
Pursuing a career as a dietitian was not a tough choice for her. She spent the better part of her childhood and adolescence struggling with weight. Her junior year of high school, she wrote her own diet and exercise plan and lost 65 pounds.
After that, she knew she wanted to help people achieve that same goal and better their life.
They say if you love your job, you will never work a day in your life. Hannah believes this to be true and thanks God every day for the path she has chosen.
