Wednesday ceremony to honor children for Child Abuse Prevention Month

Sunday, April 7, 2024

The public is invited to join a Wednesday morning ceremony to show support for the children and families of Putnam County.

At 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 10, Greencastle Mayor Lynda Dunbar will recognize April as Child Abuse Prevention Month in Greencastle.

Immediately following, community members will plant a pinwheel garden to symbolize the hope that together we can work to give every child in Putnam County a carefree childhood, free of abuse and neglect.

  • FYI, I was alerted the location will be at the Putnam County Courthouse.
